*that means "Blessings of Inspiration" Hello! My name is Kat and I'm an about-to-turn 40 ADF Druid and Reiki II practitioner from Maryland. I'm the local coordinator for Pagan Pride in my hometown, the secretary for an Interfaith group serving the GLBT community, the vice president of the local Druid Grove, advisor for a local university's student Pagan group and an ADF Dedicant and Ecumenicon Interfaith ministerial intern. (Busy, nah, what gave you that idea? ) In addition, I'm the wife of a smashingly patient hubby, stay-at-home mother of three and the caretaker for eight pets. Our lives are busy with junior-high musicals for my daughter, T-ball for my oldest boy and potty training for the littlest. I love to roleplay, both online (in two different HP games) and with my AD&D biweekly gaming group. I knit for charity and teach knitting basics as well. When not cleaning house or kids, I love hiding in the bubble bath with a good book or two. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Gerontology, and am looking forward to reviving my quest to get into Nursing school this summer. Well met, and I look forward to talking to all!

I know who you are... ;D And I'm pretty sure you found this site via an affiliate button on HAND...?
Probably not a question you're expecting... but what's T-ball?

I know you too =)
Welcome! I'm excited to have you join! I didn't realize you were a druid! I hope my druid character didn't disgrace or discredit you...
I have many questions... though I'm tired and my brain is dead; I'll have to post them another time.
What would you like your religious category to say/be? (e.g. Druidism, Christianity, Druidic Order, etc. *has no idea and wants to make sure you have a section to put your info*)

T-ball or Tee ball is baseball for younger kids where they use a tall tee on a base to help the kids hit the ball. We moved up to pitching to them by the end of things, but boy was it fun! I was the only female coach in the entire league . . . And David, no, your Druid character is rather archetypal, he's just fine! My student character, Katherine, is fascinated by him. Very accurate to have him redoing the classroom and using a lot of elemental and nature abilities. Of course, he's far more magical in some ways than an IRL Druid, trust me! ;D Yes, I did come here by way of HAND. I was looking at various affiliates out of curiosity and went, "Whoa, cool, what's this?!" After a look, I signed up. I enjoy religious dialogue, that's why I'm involved in two Interfaith groups. I'm looking forward to the site growing.
